Allstar Weekend is Making It Big as Disney's Next Big Thing

Up-and-coming rockers Allstar Weekend are Disney’s newest darlings, kicking off Radio Disney’s new multi-platform daily program N.B.T. Making It Big. Radio Disney first introduced the band in their original Next Big Thing (N.B.T.) program, which led the band to a deal with Hollywood Records. Now, with the Making It Big program – a series of videos that will air on the Disney Channel and online – fans can follow Allstar Weekend to photo shoots, recording sessions and more as they prepare for the release of their debut album on June 22nd. In a recent interview with Girl’s Life, bass player Cameron says that the new videos “will show fans that we are just four normal guys from a small town going on an epic journey. Allstar Weekend’s debut album will feature the hits “Journey to the End of My Life” and the guys’ new single “A Different Side of Me.” “A Different Side of Me” is also featured on the soundtrack to Miley Cyrus’ new film The Last Song, along with tracks from Maroon 5, OneRepublic, and Miley herself. The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 23rd, but fans can grab the song now on iTunes.
