Kelly Rowland Announces New US Single

By iWontSTFU On May 27, 2010 No Comments

According to DigitalSpy Kelly Rowland will release “Shake Them Haters Off” in the US whereas “Commander” will be for the European market.

About her album she says:

“Everyone was like, ‘Are you going to do a full dance album or are you going to do an urban album?’ I’m doing both, because I won’t allow anyone to put me in box. I’ve got to find my voice. I blame myself a little bit for not having the faith to do that, and I finally have the faith to do that.”

I honestly don’t know if releasing “Shake Them Haters Off” will do anything. I think the song is silly and she could as well try to make “Commander” popular on both continents. “Commander” has potential in my eyes. The song is catchy, danceable and has a certain swag to it.

Kelly Rowland: I Will Love Beyoncé Til Our Dying Days

By iWontSTFU On May 7, 2010 No Comments

Since Kelly Rowland parted with Beyoncé’s father and manager Mathew Knowles there are constantly rumors about Kelly and Beyoncé not being friends anymore. Besides people accuse Beyoncé to drop her video for “Why Don’t You Love Me” in order to hamper Kelly’s success with her new single “Commander” which is like “When Love Takes Over” a David Guetta production.

However Kelly spoke to HipHollywood about the rumors. Video after the jump.

At A Kelly Rowland Concert They Cheer Because IT'S OVER

By iWontSTFU On January 17, 2010 2 Comments

It’s no secret that I am anything but happy with Kelly’s live performances and this sounds actually like a good idea:

I think Beyoncé should cut a deal with Kelly Rowland…

She should pay Kelly Rowland 10 million dollars to cease and desist performing songs related to Beyoncé and Destiny’s Child as well as to disassociate herself with the entity known as “Destiny’s Child.” Kelly Rowland is single-handedly destroying the legacy of Destiny’s Child, one horrible performance at a time.

She really could do the world a favor by paying Kelly Rowland to sit down and shut up for all eternity.

That is all.

Ha! This is actually true. For somebody who has been trained to sing with Beyoncé Kelly Rowland’s vocal abilities are more than underwhelming. Also claiming to have a vocal coach looks like a joke as I can’t see any improvements made.

A good example would be this recent performance:

Kelly Rowland's Sleepy Date

By iWontSTFU On January 17, 2010 No Comments

When Love Takes Over singer Kelly Rowland revealed that she once fell asleep during a date.

The Destiny’s Child singer – who is currently single – once dozed off during a romantic cinema trip with a prospective boyfriend and was snoring so loudly her bandmate Beyonce Knowles had to interrupt and wake her up.

She explained: “Once I fell asleep. He was the nicest guy, but I just happened to fall asleep. We were at a movie and yes, he noticed that I fell asleep. Beyonce had to come up to me and say,

My friend Jay-C is meeting Kelly Rowland during the NRJ Music Awards. That’s why he’s currently busy making a fanbook for Kelly. So if you’d like to be part of it follow the instructions and send your entry to

mskelly2010@gmail.com

  • Maximum size: full A4 page (color, black and white, with or without pics, whatever…)
  • Format : PDF or Jpeg (not Word because if you use a font that he doesn’t have, it will mess up your document — however, if you use a very common font (like Times New Roman or Arial), you can send a Word file. Make sure it is easy to read because last time he received some letters with flashy colours and weird fonts).
  • Presentation: mention your name, age, location (city and country), favourite album and favourite songs (1 uptempo, 1 ballad, 1 midtempo)

That’s it! It would be great if many of
