Robyn stopped by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night for an exhilarating performance of her infectious single “Dancing On My Own.”

With the release of Body Talk right around the corner, Swedish pop sensation Robyn stopped by “Gossip Girl” last night to perform “Hang With Me” at Blair Waldorf’s birthday party. Her infectious single “Dancing On My Own” played during the end credits, and perhaps it was Robyn’s hypnotic vocals and electrifying beats that finally brought Chuck and Blair back together…
Fans can also catch Robyn performing on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” on November 11th. Body Talk will be released in the US on November 23rd via Cherrytree Records.

On November 22nd, Cherrytree Records will release Body Talk, the final in a trilogy of 2010 albums from Robyn. The Swedish singer-songwriter’s work recently prompted London’s Sunday Times to ask: “Who else is recording chart-bound pop as sophisticated as this?” while NME said Body Talk“might just be the album of the year.” The new record will contain 15 tracks: five brand new songs plus five tracks each from Body Talk PT 1 and PT 2. While on an international promo tour for her new album, Robyn stopped by a morning show in Germany to perform tracks from her two Body Talk releases. The Swedish pop star sang beautiful, stripped down acoustic versions of “Hang With Me” and “Dancing On My Own.”
Robyn also performed a never before heard rendition of “Dancing On My Own” at the MTV VMAs this past weekend with house DJ deadmau5.

Robyn’s second installment of the Body Talk trilogy is available today via Cherrytree Records. The album is currently sitting in the iTunes top 10 and it is the follow up to her critically acclaimed release this past June. PT 2 features Robyn’s single “Hang With Me” and collaboration with Snoop Dogg “U Should Know Better.”

Robyn performed a cover of Bjork’s “Hyperballad” at the Polar Music Prize ceremony in Stockholm. Bjork was an award recipient at the show and was able to watch Robyn’s stunning live tribute from the audience.

Swedish superstar Robyn covered Alicia Keys’ beautiful song “Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart” at iheartradio.

I definitely prefer the original version since I don’t think that Robyn’s voice can actually transfer the emotions as Alicia can.

The video for Robyn’s new single “Hang With Me” has premiered on Robyn.com. The Max Vitali directed video features behind the scenes footage from the Swedish singer on tour.
This is the lead single from Robyn’s 2nd album of a 3 part trilogy, Body Talk Pt. 2, which offers the clearest example yet of Robyn’s pop prowess; 8 songs that crystallize her preoccupation with hypnotic repetition, propulsive beats and infectious hooks, and lyrics which display the kind of unabashed emotional vulnerability that only comes with true self-confidence.
Body Talk PT 2 will be available September 7th on Cherrytree Records, and it is further proof that Robyn’s understanding and love of pop music is as intrinsic as it is accomplished.

Body Talk PT 2, the second in a trilogy of albums that Robyn will release this year on Cherrytree Records, is due out on September 7th. “Hang With Me,” the album’s lead single, will be available at all digital retailers on August 17th. The collection will also feature a duet with Snoop Dogg, who delivers what Robyn describes as a “very gangsta” performance on “U Should Know Better.”

Just last month Robyn’s Body Talk PT 1 debuted at No. 1 in Sweden (her homeland), and Denmark. It entered Billboard’s Dance/Electronic chart at No. 3. The Times of London called “Dancing On My Own,” the album’s first single, “a digital torch song worthy of Confessions-era Madonna.”

Robyn launched her North American tour last week at the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago. She’ll also perform at the inaugural Disco Lemonade: Summer
