Tamar Kaprelian has released another video from her sessions at Jack Johnson’s Solar Powered Plastic Plant in Los Angeles, CA. This time, the 23-year-old singer/songwriter performs “Should Have Known Better” off of her debut album Sinner or a Saint.
The track is “definitely about someone who did me wrong and led me in the wrong direction,” Tamar explains. “Had I not gone through that experience, I wouldn’t have written the record that I wrote.”
Tamar Kaprelian Discusses Debut Album Out Today
Tamar Kaprelian is celebrating the release of her Interscope Records debut, Sinner or a Saint, today. The 22-year-old singer/songwriter sat down to discuss a few of her favorite tracks from the record including current single “New Day” and title track “Sinner or a Saint” which she wrote with Ryan Tedder and Brent Kutzle of OneRepublic. Tamar also shares the story behind the album title and how excited she is to share these ten songs with the world.

Tamar Kaprelian Premieres Music Video And Unveils Album Cover

Tamar Kaprelian has just premiered the official music video for her single “New Day.” Watch the twenty-two year old rising star take her piano through beautiful fields and forests in the ultimate fairytale setting.
Tamar has been writing since she was just fourteen years old and hopes to send a profoundly positive message with “New Day.” She says, it’s “about struggling, persevering, and being in a situation where you don’t know how you’re gonna dig yourself out of it. And at the end of it, life is like a road—you don’t stop in the middle of it. I really want people to listen to this record and get a sense of hope from it.”
“New Day” will appear on Tamar’s debut album, Sinner Or A Saint, due out later this summer.
