I’m going to be honest: Country music is not really the genre I enjoy listening to. I definitely could live in a world without a Taylor Swift. The only country audio file on my HDD is “Before He Cheats” by Carrie Underwood who can hold a note unlike Taylor Swift. But now I got to revise my statement because I also own now a full country album which is “Chaos and Bright Lights” by The McClymonts.

The trio of sisters was born and raised in Australia where their album “Chaos and Bright Lights” already climbed up the charts in 2007. Now it’s about time to take step further and conquer the USA. And I think the album has potential to do well in the homeland of country.

My personal

Chaos and Bright Lights, the debut album from Australian country music sensations The McClymonts, is available in stores now.  The album – which has already reached gold status in Australia – features the single “Save Yourself” and hit track “My Life Again.”  Grab the album now on iTunes, and check out the video for “Save Yourself” here.

Winners of Best Group three years in a row at the Australian Country Music Awards, The McClymonts – sisters Mollie, Brooke and Sam – are ready to bring their high energy brand of pop-country to the States. After a string of August tour dates, including a show at this Thursday’s NASCAR event in Tennessee, the girls will return to Australia for 10 shows in 14 days.  They will return stateside in September to tour with Jason Aldean

Australian country music sensations The McClymonts aren’t afraid to tell it like it is in their new video for single “Save Yourself,” warning all those “nice guys” out there that they might get more than they bargained for! “Save Yourself” (available now on iTunes) is featured on The McClymonts debut album Chaos and Bright Lights, already certified gold in Australia and set for a US debut on August 17th. Starting August 12 the girls will set off for a round of performances across the country, including shows with Jason Aldean and Lady Antebellum.
